Outcome of the presidential election and the presidential transition

Joe biden has been officially declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election. He recieved 306 electoral votes while Donald Trump secured only 232 votes.  Despite that, the current president is still questioning the credibility of the election and claiming it has been rigged, however the claim is disputed. 

The presidential transition begins when the winner of the election is announced and lasts approximately 11 weeks. During this time the president and his staff fill around 4000 positions in the government, the president elect recieves classified national security information and meetings are arranged for new government officials so they are better prepared for their roles
