Predicted outcome of the 2020 presidential election
As of today, the 2nd of November 2020, the predicted winner of tomorrow's election is Joe Biden, with a 90% chance of victory. A consensus forecast, taking into consideration the results of 9 different polls and ignoring the votes from the most undecided states, predicts a win for Biden with almost twice as much votes as Trump (290 to 163). Despite that, a win for Donald Trump is by no means impossible, as we have discovered 4 years ago when he won even tho his chances were very low. As I have mentioned in previous posts forecasting the outcomes of presidential elections in the US is extremely difficult as a 1% difference in a single state can change the result dramatically, that's why awaiting the aftermath is in a way exciting. The first exit polls results will start appearing around midnight tomorrow

How could the votes shift so much in Donald's Trump's favor, since you mentioned that it is not yet certain that Joe Biden will win the election?
