Would you like to live 250 years?

I personally would not like to live for 250 years, because my body would age so much I wouldn't be able to function normally. This is, of course, assuming only the length of life would change, not the speed of aging. The extra time would be a nightmare, because even regular people, living about 80 years have trouble with many things when they are old. This would render the extra time useless as I wouldn't be able to utilize it at all. The additional time would also greatly increase the chances of an unfortunate event happening, that would end my life.  However, if there was a way to prevent aging, or at least reduce its pace I'd gladly accept lengthening my life, which would allow me to experience many more things, that I would living a normal life. People living for this long would also inevitebly cause numerous problems for society, like pensions or overpopulation, but for the purpose of this text, I'm treating this as a single possibility. In conclusion, I wouldn't want to live for 250 years, unless my body wouldn't age.

  1. A reasonable condition. What's the point in living if you can't enjoy life?
